Pine Haven Village Shoppes began in 1987 when Jeffrey and Pamela Moore purchased the property of what was once the Launtz farm, butter producers in the early 1900's. The Moore's restored the surviving home, summerhouse and surrounding grounds. Their dream was to create a vintage shopping village on their property. Over the years, several buildings have joined the complex, each in danger of destruction, and each saved, restored and adapted to house unique specialty shoppes.

The Log House

The Log House is a 200-year old building that was formerly located in Wellersburg, PA, dismantled, brought to Pine Haven Village and rebuilt log by log in 1989.

The Walker Room, Somerset's only colonial specialty shop, is currently located in the log house and carries Brighton leathers, Vera Bradley, lodge decor, primitives, and a log house full of fabulous specialties. Contact them for shoppe hours at 814-443-3379.

The Launtz House

The Launtz House is one of the original buildings of Pine Haven Village Shoppes, the farmhouse for the Launtz family.

From the Heart, an art gallery, is located in the Launtz House. They carry fine arts and crafts from Pennsylvania artists including original paintings, glass, pottery, metal work, jewelry, woodwork and weaving. Contact them at 814-445-3457 or visit their website at www.fromtheheartgallery.com

The Heiple House

The Heiple House was formerly located down the street. It was moved here in one piece in 1990.

The Schoolhouse

Originally from the Berlin, PA area, this is an actual one-room school building, built around 1900 and moved here in 1992.

M&M High Tech is located in the schoolhouse. They offer made to order computers, accessories, networking, security, music & sound equipment, hobby shop, RC vehicles and accessories. You can reach them at 814-443-2896 or by email directly at mmhightech@Pennswoods.net

The Summer House

The Summer House is another original building from the Launtz farm.

Robin's Nest is snuggled in the summer house. They offer whimsical folk art, hand-painted maple sugar buckets, candles, and much more! Call Robin at 814-445-3134.

The Mill

Originally this building was a retail feed mill and tack shop.

Somerset Pet Center is located in the Mill. They offer an assortment of fresh and salt water fish, reptiles, birds, puppies and pet supplies. They also have water gardens and supplies available. Call them at 814-445-8613.

The Walker House

The Walker House and Mill were adjacent neighbors of Pine Haven Village Shoppes. Purchased in 1992 they added additional space to the complex.

Whitetail Renovations is a kitchen and bath design center and is located in the Walker House. They feature a complete line of semi-custom and custom cabinetry. A full line of Regency wood & gas stoves, gas fireplaces, and gas & wood inserts are also available. Call them at 814-444-1199.

The Keck House

The Keck House is the newest addition to Pine Haven Village. Previously located near the county courthouse, it is one of the oldest houses in Somerset, built in the 1840's and moved here in 1995
